Town Portal has already collected 2,500+ unique matches from Top-200 players in Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era Single-Hero mode.
You may have already seen some of the charts based on this data: faction distribution, map template popularity, rating movement, and other early PvP insights.
But Top-200 players data is only one part of the picture.
We Need More Than Top-200 behavior
Many players are not 2500 ELO. Many players are still learning factions, trying different templates, experimenting with builds, and playing the game in a much more chaotic and realistic way and fun way.
And that matters.
Players around 500–1800 rating are not “irrelevant data”. They are the core player base of Olden Era. Their match history can help show what the actual meta looks like outside the top ladder bubble.
That includes:
- which factions are popular at different rating levels
- which templates people actually play
- how matchups change between low, mid, and high ratings
- where balance problems may appear for regular players
- how the meta evolves over time

- Each screenshot no more than 10Mb (usually about 700-900Kb)
Why This Matters
A larger community dataset can help everyone understand what is really happening in the current Olden Era PvP meta.
With enough screenshots, Town Portal can create better stats and articles about:
- faction popularity
- map template distribution
- win rates by rating range
- matchup trends
- rating movement
- common patterns outside the Top-200
- changes after patches and balance updates
This can also support better community discussions. The developers actively listen to player feedback, and better data can help make balance conversations more grounded.
Data Quality and Manual Review
- All submitted screenshots will be manually reviewed before being added to the dataset.
- Fake, edited, unclear, duplicate, or suspicious screenshots will not be imported automatically and will not be allowed to rig the statistics.
- The goal is not to create noisy data. The goal is to build a useful community-powered view of the Single-Hero ladder.
