Quick Overview
Balanced by Patch #11 on 6 July: mirror-copy When creating a copy, it now duplicates only the native size of the stack, excluding temporary units.
Lexiav showed some serious 5Head magic manipulation during a recent Olden Era livestream.
He used a spell combo to turn thunder-qilin x57 into 400+.

The Combo: Shadow Army + Mirror Copy
The key interaction was built around two spells following this steps:
- Cast shadow-army
- Cast mirror-copy
- Cast shadow-army on a copy
- Repeat with more copies and shadow army!
Together, they created a massive multiplication effect on thunder-qilin.
That is an absurd jump in battlefield presence, especially when it happens in a real PvP situation rather than a theorycrafting sandbox.

Second Battle Became 'Finalka'
The hero stats were insane for a second fight on Exodus!

Intended Combo or Nerf Candidate
The big question is whether this interaction is intended.
On one hand, Olden Era is a Heroes-like game, and part of the fun comes from discovering powerful spell combinations, strange scaling, and high-impact battlefield tricks.
On the other hand, turning 57 Thunder Qilins into 400+ looks extreme enough that it may become a balance concern, especially if players can reproduce it consistently in competitive matches.
The developers have already shown that they are willing to adjust outlier mechanics when they become too dominant. If this combo becomes common on ladder or in tournaments, it would not be surprising to see changes to Shadow Army and Mirror Copy, summoned stack scaling, or how copied units interact with temporary armies.
For now, though, it is exactly the kind of wild highlight that makes Olden Era PvP fun to watch.
