The early Arena leaderboard was shaped by the first months of the game, when rating movement was faster and several leading players established totals that appeared increasingly difficult to reach.
ROLD was the first active challenger to break into that group. He currently holds second place with a 2800 rating and an exceptional 199–81 record, equal to a 71% win rate.
WILIEF followed a very different path.
His 57% win rate is lower than those of the other leading players, but it has been sustained across an enormous sample. After 1,148 Arena games, consistent positive results have carried him beyond the old leaderboard summit.
